Definition and Purpose Under the supervision of the Coordinator-Aquatics, the Lifeguard is responsible for the supervision of the Cal Poly Recreation Center pools and pool area during recreational swimming hours and fitness and instructional program hours. Additional lifeguard duties may include supervision of programs at the Anderson Aquatic Center and Poly Canyon Village pool.
